The developers of Need for Speed Unbound have unveiled an ambitious plan to support the game in 2024
Criterion Games studio is not going to end support for Need for Speed Unbound racing game and revealed a massive plan for the game's second year of development.
Here's What We Know
The developers plan to release four new chapters in 2024, which will have a lot of additional content. The updates are planned to add one new mode or large-scale event each.
Each of the four seasons, the first of which will be released in February, will feature two new vehicles, as well as additional events, challenges, ranked races, and more.
The release plan for the seasonal updates is:
- Head to Head mode - February-April;
- Drift and Drag mode, which is inspired by Need For Speed: Underground - May-July;
- Cops vs Racers mode, which is inspired by Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit - August-October;
- the fourth chapter will be released between October and December, but its details have not been revealed yet.
It is possible that the fourth chapter will be a preparation for the release of a new Need for Speed instalment, which, according to unconfirmed information, is being handled by Criterion Games.
