Sales of NieR: Automata action game exceeded 8 million copies
Publisher Square Enix has revealed updated sales statistics of the famous action-RPG NieR: Automata.

The game, created by Japanese studio PlatinumGames and famous game designer Yoko Taro, was released in 2017 and received critical acclaim and won the love of gamers.
In seven years, players have bought 8 million copies of NieR: Automata - a great result for a complex and niche game. Moreover, 500 thousand copies have been sold since April 2023, which demonstrates the stable popularity of the game.

At first gamers did not appreciate NieR: Automata, but over time the game gained cult status, which became possible due to the unconventional approach to the narrative, complex and exciting gameplay and a huge number of endings. We would like to mention the great music in NieR: Automata.
