The presentation of the Shadow of the Erdtree add-on has sparked a new surge of interest in the Elden Ring

A few days ago FromSoftware studio presented the first trailer of the long-awaited Shadow of the Erdtree add-on for Elden Ring.

This event caused not only a lot of discussions, but also a surge of interest in the best game of 2022.

Here's What We Know

Since the release of Elden Ring in February 2022, there has been a steady interest in the game. However, in the first weekend after the demo of the add-on, Steam registered the second record for the number of simultaneous players after the maximum at release. Of course, it is far from almost 1 million people, but 108 thousand for a complex two-year game of a niche genre is an impressive result.

At the time of writing there are more than 96 thousand people in the game, so the statistics in Elden Ring can change even more.

Recall, the Shadow of the Erdtree add-on will be released on 21 June on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam).
