Earlier than expected: the release date of the dark action game No Rest for the Wicked from platformer Ori has been announced

Wicked Inside presentation took place, where Moon Studios - the author of the famous platformers Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps - shared details of their new project.

Here's What We Know

The developers presented gameplay footage of No Rest for the Wicked - a gloomy isometric action game.

Game designers showed cinematic scenes, talked about the plot twist and demonstrated the first minutes of the game.

Moon Studios emphasised that the world of No Rest for the Wicked is created exclusively by hand, without the use of procedural generation. This approach guarantees that all locations will be unique and atmospheric, as well as meet the studio's high quality standards.

As for the gameplay, it will be a rather complex action game with a complex combat system and a lot of possibilities. Moon Studios previously stated that comparisons of No Rest for the Wicked to Diablo are incorrect and untrue, as it is more similar to games like Dark Souls.

In addition to the addictive gameplay, players can expect a compelling story and interesting characters.

However, the biggest news of the Wicked Inside show is the release date of No Rest for the Wicked.

When We Can Expect It

No Rest for the Wicked will be released on the 18th of April, but unfortunately it will only be Steam Early Access, when the full version will be released is still unknown, as well as the release date of the console versions.
