To comfortably pass the PC version of Horizon Forbidden West will come to upgrade the iron: Sony published disappointing system requirements of the game

Sony and Nixxes Software published detailed system requirements for PC-version of Horizon Forbidden West action game.

We have to disappoint: not all users will be able to play one of the most technological games of the current generation in high resolution and decent performance.

At maximum settings gamers need a video card of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 level and 16 GB of RAM.

System Requirements

Low settings (720p at 30 fps)

• Operating system: 64-bit Windows 10;
• processor: Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X;
• graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5500XT (4 GB);
• RAM: 16 GB;
• SSD space: 150 GB.

Medium settings (1080p at 60 fps)

• Operating system: 64-bit Windows 10;
• processor: Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600;
• graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700;
• RAM: 16GB;
• SSD space: 150 GB;

High settings (1440p at 60 fps or 4K at 30 fps)

• operating system: 64-bit Windows 10;
• processor: Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X;
• graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800;
• RAM: 16GB;
• SSD space: 150 GB.

Ultra settings (4K at 60 fps)

• operating system: 64-bit Windows 10;
• processor: Intel Core i7-11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X;
• graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900XT;
• RAM: 16GB;
• SSD space: 150 GB.

The developers promise that in the PC-version of Horizon Forbidden West there will be a lot of settings, which will allow to adapt the game not only for different computers, but also to comfortably run it on portable devices, for example, Steam Deck.

When We Can Expect It

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will be released on Steam and EGS on March 21. The edition will also include the Burning Shores story add-on.

Originally released in February 2022, the game has received high marks and is superior to the 2017 original in every way.
