In September 2023, the You can never have too many turtles! Outright Games has announced an action game based on the animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem based on the hit cartoon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
At that time the developer did not provide any details of the project, but now Game Informer journalists have revealed the main nuances of the game.

The game will be called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed. It combines elements of 3D action and Beat 'em up genre.
The plot of Mutants Unleashed will be a direct sequel to the 2023 animated film and will tell the story of how the young turtles once again repel the attack of villains on New York, while dealing with household problems.
Players will be able to control each of the four turtle brothers, and each of them will have their own features and advantages.
