Google Pixel 6 Pro isn't even in top 5 of DxOMark's best camera phones
The main camera of the new flagship Google Pixel 6 Pro was tested by DxOMark. The smartphone failed to enter the top five best camera phones according to the benchmark.
What we know
The main strengths of Pixel 6 Pro are high detail, natural color reproduction, fast autofocus, good image stabilization and a wide dynamic range. That smartphone is not the best at blurring the backgrounds, and the bokeh effect is not visible in photo preview mode. Sometimes autofocus suffers in low light and noise is present in both video and photos.
Nevertheless, Google Pixel 6 Pro received 143 points for photography, and video capabilities were rated at 115 points. In comparison, the leader of the ranking, which is Huawei P50 Pro scored 149 points and 126 points respectively.
With 135 points the hero of the note was only the sixth position in the summary rating. It was 1 point behind the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, which closed the top 5. Above the Pixel 6 Pro were also iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max (137 points each), Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (139 points) and the already mentioned Huawei P50 Pro (143 points).
As for the last generation smartphone, the Pixel 5, it is far behind with 120 points in the asset. True, it is not quite correct to compare the two models, because last year's Pixel is not a full-fledged flagship, although it costs $700. Pixel 6 Pro costs from $899 to $1,099.
