Google is preparing to update the Pixel Launcher to allow users to use Circle to Search in split-screen mode on Pixel devices.

According to analysts, Google plans to use Samsung's 4-nanometre-class technology for its next Tensor G4 processor, which will be installed in the Pixel 9 smartphones scheduled for release in the second half of the year.

Google's Pixel smartphones have shown phenomenal growth in the Japanese market in 2023, according to International Data Corporation (IDC). Pixel's annual sales growth was an astounding 527 per cent, cementing Google's position as the country's third-largest smartphone maker.

Google has started rolling out the Pixel Feature Drop update for Pixel devices and along with it comes Android security patches dated March 2024.
