Baldur's Gate 3's strong release on PC has fuelled a surge in pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 version. The game topped the PSN chart in the US
The release of the PC version of Baldur's Gate 3 was a real event in the gaming industry in 2023.
The game was enthusiastically welcomed by critics and the public, enjoys huge popularity, is actively discussed in social networks and in general the project of Larian Studios has set a high bar for RPG developers.

Baldur's Gate 3 will be released on PlayStation 5 on the 6th of September.
Obviously, due to the specifics of the game on Japanese consoles, it will be less popular than on PC, but the strong release on PCs spurred pre-orders for Baldur's Gate 3 and for PlayStation 5.
Beni-Sales, a reputable analyst, reported that Larian Studios' game has taken the top spot in the US for pre-orders on PS5.
Exact sales figures are not yet available, but considering what games Baldur's Gate 3 is competing with (screenshot below), it's safe to say that the pre-order figures won't disappoint the developers.
