It's official: a PC version and two major expansions for Final Fantasy XVI are in development, and a free update is already available for PS5 users
Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida has given fans of the game three pieces of great news.
Here's What We Know
Square Enix released Final Fantasy XVI exclusively on PlayStation 5 in June 2023.
Today, the producer officially confirmed that the game will soon be coming to PC as well. He did not give an approximate release date for the PC version of Final Fantasy XVI, but it is unlikely to happen before the end of this year due to the contract with Sony.
In addition, there are two paid add-ons in development, but they will be revealed by the end of 2023.

In the meantime, the developer has released a free Final Fantasy XVI update, in which gamers will get alternate looks for the game's central characters and some other bonuses.
