There's a possibility that The Elder Scrolls VI won't be a Microsoft exclusive and will be released on PlayStation - Phil Spencer has made a comment on the big question
After Bethesda became part of Xbox Game Studios, gamers wondered whether the company's games would become exclusive to Microsoft platforms.
Most of all everyone was interested in the fate of Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI.
About the space role-playing game we have already received an answer, but about the continuation of the cult fantasy franchise there is still no definite information.
Here's What We Know
Bloomberg interviewed the head of Xbox Phil Spencer, in which journalists directly asked a question about what platforms The Elder Scrolls VI will be available on. Spencer's answer was evasive, but he admits that Bethesda's new game will be released on PlayStation consoles as well.
We want to make sure that our games for millions of players will be available on a variety of devices - we're talking about Starfield and other Xbox Game Studios projects. Our goal is to give players the choice of how they want to play and how to build their game library.
Phil Spencer also stated that the list of platforms for each Bethesda game is considered separately, so the fact that Starfield came out on PC and Xbox Series does not mean that the sixth part of TES will also be exclusive to Microsoft platforms.
It's worth noting that TES VI won't be out for a while yet, so things could change by its release.
