No big announcements are promised: Naughty Dog tells how it will celebrate The Last of Us official day on September 26
On September 26, the gaming industry celebrates "Outbreak Day", the official day of The Last of Us, during which fans are immersed in the game's universe. Naughty Dog, the studio that gave us The Last of Us universe, told us what to expect today.
Here's What We Know
On Twitter, the studio announced that although The Last of Us series turned 10 years old this year, the authors would not discuss any future game projects or TV shows. There was only a mention of merchandise and "many other things". Perhaps Naughty Dog is still preparing a surprise for us, but doesn't want to show all its cards yet. After all, a multiplayer game in the TLoU universe is in development, and rumours are circulating about a remaster of TLoU II for PS 5. However, it is unlikely that we should expect news about the second season of the series, as we need to wait for the end of the writers' strike and the settlement of the current SAG-AFTRA strike.
Also today, we will host a live stream to celebrate the event at 12:00 (EDT) or 09:00 (PDT)
In any case, we wish all The Last of Us fans a very happy day.
