The Last of Us composer Gustavo Santaolalla receives the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences' Lifetime Achievement Award
The Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences has presented Gustavo Santaolalla with a lifetime achievement award.
Here's What We Know
Gustavo is best known for being the composer of The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II, as well as the HBO TV adaptation.
Thanks to Gustavo, the first The Last of Us received several awards for "Best Soundtrack and Music". The Last of Us Part II was also nominated for soundtrack-related awards, and won some of them. The series also kept up with the source material and, thanks to the composer, won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Television Series. And the Argentine composer himself has more than 30 personal awards.
