SNK has announced an update for The King of Fighters 15 that will bring an offensive system called "Advanced Strike" to the game, which is designed to deal with throws and physical blows:

Here's What We Know

In order to activate Advance Strike, you will need a half-filled Power Gauge, which will automatically replenish if the opponent blocks your strike. Causes a hard knockdown, allowing you to perform further attacks and combos. Although it is slower than Shatter Strikes, opponents who try to throw you while it is active will fall to the ground defenceless.

In general, this system is very similar to the Power Crush in Tekken 8, but it is more aggressive and effective in countering throws.
