Dead by Daylight received a new modifier - Lights Out, which will plunge the game map into darkness
A week after Behaviour Interactive introduced Alan Wake in Dead by Daylight, the studio has launched a new limited-time modifier called Lights Out, which significantly changes the gameplay experience within the existing Trial mode, providing a fresh dynamic to the gameplay for both killers and survivors.
Here's What We Know
The Blackout modifier will be available until 14 February. It immerses the game map in darkness, which leads to a reduced user interface for players. Perks will be disabled on both sides, which will create an additional challenge for the survivors. In particular, the Killer no longer emits a radius of terror, further complicating the Survivors' situational awareness.
The absence of scratches means that the Killers will have to find alternative ways to track the Survivors. In addition, they must adapt to the increasing availability of high quality items in chests scattered throughout the map.
Where To Play
Dead by Daylight is available on all modern platforms.
