Capcom reports 97 million copies of Monster Hunter games sold
Capcom's Monster Hunter franchise has strengthened its position as one of the company's largest and most successful projects, consistently demonstrating strong sales over long periods, and the third quarter of fiscal year 2023/24 was no exception.
Here's What We Know
According to Capcom's recently published quarterly report, total sales of the Monster Hunter series as of 31 December last year reached 97 million units worldwide, up 2 million units from 95 million at the end of the previous quarter.
Monster Hunter World made a significant contribution to this statistic, selling 19.1 million copies, and if we take into account Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition, the figure rises to 24.1 million units. In turn, Monster Hunter Rise sold 14.2 million copies, and its expansion pack Sunbreak sold 7.1 million.
