Rise of the Ronin will support online play for up to four players

Team Ninja's Rise of the Ronin, which will be released soon, will be the studio's first open-world game, but despite these changes, the game will still retain some elements familiar to the studio's fans, such as multiplayer mode.

Here's What We Know

According to the FAQ page, Rise of the Ronin will support co-op for up to four players who will cooperate during the story missions. It is worth noting that you will need to have a PlayStation Plus subscription to access this feature, and that the game will not have a PvP mode.

The addition of co-op multiplayer has been an important aspect in previous games such as Nioh and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and it's likely to resonate well with fans of Team Ninja's previous work.

Where To Play

Rise of the Ronin will be available on PlayStation 5 only.

When We Can Expect It

The game will be released on March 22.
