Sony launches a massive wave of layoffs: 900 PlayStation employees will be out of work
A global wave of layoffs in the gaming industry has affected Sony Interactive Entertainment.
The Japanese company announced the dismissal of 900 PlayStation employees - that's about 8% of the entire team.

Thelayoffs will affect studios including Guerrilla Games (Horizon series), Insomniac Games (Marvel's Spider-Man), Naughty Dog (The Last of Us) and Firesprite (VR game Horizon Call of the Mountain), among others.
PlayStation London Studios will close completely.
