POCO F5 Pro unveiled - Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, 120Hz 3.2K display, MIUI 14 and Android 13

Following the POCO F5, the company has announced the Pro version. While the standard model is the global version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, the POCO F5 Pro is the international variant of the Chinese Redmi K60.

Here's What We Know

The POCO F5 Pro is the brand's first smartphone to get a WQHD+ display. The resolution is 3,200 x 1,440 pixels, the diagonal is 6.67" and the density is 526 ppi. The screen has support for 120Hz refresh rate, an integrated fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass 5 glass.

The device's hardware platform is built around the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile chip. The battery capacity has dropped by 340 mA*h to 5160 mA*h compared to the Redmi K60. The smartphone supports 67W and 30W wired and wireless charging respectively.

The POCO F5 Pro is equipped with a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP primary camera. The Pro version, like the standard model, got optical stabilisation but remained without a telephoto lens. Videos can be shot in 8K at 30 FPS and in 4K at 60 FPS. The front camera resolution is 16 MP.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The POCO F5 Pro will go on sale with MIUI 14 firmware powered by Android 13 in white and black body colours. The price of the smartphone will be announced tomorrow, May 9. The model is expected to cost at least €579.
