Help me find the best bluetooth speaker on amazon under $50!

Newbie here on a mission to find a decent portable speaker without breaking the bank. I'm hunting for the best Bluetooth speaker on Amazon under $50.

I need something I can throw in my bag for park hangouts or beach days. It'd be awesome if it could survive a few accidental drops (I'm a bit of a klutz) and keep the tunes going all day long.

I've been scrolling through Amazon, but man, the options are overwhelming! All these tech specs might as well be in alien language to me. Any of you have real-world experience with budget-friendly speakers?

What features should I prioritize? Are there any hidden gems or popular duds I should know about?

Thanks in advance for helping a clueless music lover level up their audio game!

Yo, welcome to the portable audio club! I've got the tribit maxsound plus and it's a beast for its size. Survived a few accidental drops and even a light rain. Battery lasts forever too.

Hey buddy! Don't forget to check out some of the lesser-known brands too. You might find a great deal that way. Good luck with your search - hope you find an awesome speaker!

Here's a tip: Look for speakers with USB-C charging. It's way more convenient, especially if you're always losing cables like me!

DOSS SoundBox Pro user here. It's been my beach buddy for months. Sand-proof? Check. Decent bass? Check. Attracts cute lifeguards? ...still working on that feature.

You kids and your fancy gadgets! In my day, we made do with a kazoo and we liked it! xDD But I gotta say, my granddaughter got me an Anker soundcore mini for my birthday. Surprisingly good sound for such a tiny thing. And the battery lasts longer than my attention span!

Your kazoo comment cracked me up! xD But seriously, it's cool that you're giving these new speakers a chance. How are you finding the Anker compared to your old radio? Any features you particularly like or find confusing?

Hey, before you make a decision, check out Wirecutter's guide on budget Bluetooth speakers. They do some pretty thorough testing and have solid recommendations in your price range. Might help you cut through some of the Amazon review noise.

Don't forget to check if it's got an aux input. Sometimes Bluetooth can be a pain, and it's nice to have a backup plan. Most decent speakers should have this feature.
