Help me choose the best alpine sub for deep bass!

I'm looking to upgrade my ride with some serious bass. I've always loved Alpine's sound, but there are so many options now, I'm not sure which way to go.

I'm after that deep, chest-thumping bass for my hip-hop and electronic tracks. My setup is a standard sedan, nothing too crazy in terms of space.

I've been checking out their latest models, but I can't decide between the different series or sizes. Single or dual sub setup? What's your experience with the newer Alpine subs?

What do you guys recommend for deep, powerful bass that'll really hit those low frequencies hard? I'm open to suggestions and ready to invest in quality sound.

Thanks for any advice you can throw my way!

If you're looking for serious bass in a standard sedan, I'd highly recommend checking out the Alpine R-W12D4 12" subwoofer. This thing is a beast. I've got one in a ported box and it absolutely slams. Clean, deep bass that you can really feel in your chest.

Before you go crazy with subs, make sure your car's electrical system can handle the load! Don't want to end up with a trunk full of bass and a car that won't start. xD

+1 for the r-w12d4. I've been running one for about a year now and it never disappoints. Pair it with a good amp and proper box and you'll be grinning ear to ear. Just don't blame me when your rearview mirror falls off from the vibrations! xD

While the 12" is great, don't sleep on Alpine's 10" options either. The R-W10D4 is super punchy and can be a better fit if space is tight. I've got two of them in a sealed enclosure and they sound phenomenal with all kinds of music.

Hey, before you make a decision, check out the Alpine subwoofer section on Crutchfield's website. They have a great breakdown of different Alpine models with detailed specs, power handling, and frequency response info. Plus, there are user reviews for most models. They also have a general subwoofer buying guide that can help you understand things like box types and power requirements.

Yo, chill bro! We're trying to hook @Bash up with sick bass, not turn them into a sound engineer! xD But for real, either the Alpine r-w12d4 or r-w10d4 would be dope, depending on how much space you wanna sacrifice to the bass gods. Just don't forget to pair it with a monster amp and a proper box, or you'll end up with all bark and no bite. And @Bash, fair warning: once you go subwoofer, you never go back. Your neighbors might hate you, but your car rides will be epic!

Don't forget about sound deadening! No point in having a sweet sub setup if your car rattles like a tin can. Dynamat is your friend.

Man, all this talk is making me want to upgrade my own setup! @Bash, post some pics once you get your new sub installed. Would love to see (and hear) how it turns out!
