What is the best 1/24 rc car for apartment living?

Yo RC folks, Apartment dweller here, itching to get into RC but limited on space. Eyeing 1/24 scale cars. Any solid picks that won't break the bank or tick off the neighbors?

Mainly for indoor use, maybe some hallway Grand Prix action. Budget's around a hundred bucks, give or take.

What's good in the 1/24 RC world these days? Trucks, cars, I'm all ears.

1/24 scale's great for apartments. Plenty of options, both cars and trucks. Just depends on what kind of driving you're into.

For speed, the bezgar 1:24 scale rc car is pretty sweet. It's one of the best-rated 1/24 rc cars on amazon. Fast, durable, and won't break the bank.

Good suggestion, but some might want more versatility. sml20, take a look at the Axial SCX24 RC Crawler. It's a bit pricier, but it's a beast for both indoor and outdoor use. Great for those who want to try some mini rock crawling too.

Whatever 1/24 RC you choose, grab extra batteries. These little cars can burn through juice quick.

Got a cheap one. It's fine for kids, but if you want a real 1/24 scale RC experience, save up for something better.

Or just run your 1/24 RC till it breaks, then buy a new one! (Joking, please don't do this to your wallet)

If you're handy, consider a 1/24 scale RC kit. Building your own car teaches you tons about how they work. RC Driver has a great guide on kit building basics - really helped me when I started out. Plus, nothing beats the feeling of racing something you built yourself.

Funny how 1/24 used to be considered large scale for RC. Now it's one of the smaller options out there.

True! What's next, molecular-sized RC cars? "Is that dust or my 1/1000 scale RC?"

Patience is key with 1/24 RC cars. They can be sensitive to control at first, but you'll get the hang of it.
