What is the best router for college apartment?

Yo, what's good everyone! Just moved into my first college apartment and the Wi-Fi here is trash. Need a solid router ASAP.

Deets:

- 2 bedroom apartment, like 800 sq ft

- 3 roommates, all gamers

- I'm on a computer science program, so lots of downloads

- We're splitting the cost, budget around $150 max

Hit me with your recommendations! Bonus points if it's easy to set up cuz I'm already drowning in orientation stuff.

Peace!

Bruh, forget the fancy routers. Get a long ethernet cable and assert dominance over your roommates. xD

lmao savage. But for real liopet00, with 3 gamer roommates you need something sturdy. The Asus rt-ax3000 is solid.

Congrats on the new place!  You're gonna want something that can handle multiple devices. Check out the TP-Link Archer AX55 Pro. It's a best router for college dorm room.

Don't forget to password protect that thing. Last thing you need is the whole building leeching off your connection.

Yooo fellow CS major here!  Whatever you get, make sure it has QoS. You'll thank me during finals week. It's crucial for the best WiFi router for college students.
