Just got a new Samsung TV and the built-in speakers are... meh. Looking to step up my game with a soundbar. Heard Samsung makes some good ones with built-in subs?
Setup:
- 65" Samsung QLED in living room (20x15 ft)
- Mostly watch movies and sports
- Apartment, so can't go too crazy with bass
- Budget around $500
What's good out there? Any models to avoid?

Nice TV! For a room that size, you'll want a Samsung soundbar with a decent sub. Look for something with at least 3.1 channels. Should give you good dialogue clarity and enough oomph for movies.

PSA: Don't just slap that soundbar anywhere. Placement matters big time for sound quality. I messed up my first install and it sounded like hot garbage. Ended up following this setup guide on Samsung's site - total game changer. Oh, and pro tip: don't mount the bar directly above or below the TV. Can give you weird audio/video lag sometimes.

Not gonna lie, I've been to a bunch of stores and all these Samsung soundbars with subwoofers sound pretty much the same to me. Am I going deaf or what?

Heads up RIDER, check the height specs before you buy. Some of these Samsung bars are thicc bois and might cover up the bottom of your TV. Learned that one the hard way...

Chill with the audio snobbery, not everyone's got space for a full setup. RIDER, a good Samsung soundbar with built-in subwoofer will do you right. Easy setup, clean look.
