Anyone else's parents suddenly installing sketchy apps and sending crypto to "celebrities"?

Just found out my mom sent $1200 to "Chris Hemsworth" on telegram because he "personally selected her for an investment opportunity" 😭 When I confronted her she got all defensive showing me their chat history like its proof?? The profile pic is literally from Thor premiere in 2017! Tried reverse image searching to show her but she's convinced its actually him cause "he knows details about her life" (which she told him???). Dad no better - downloaded some app that makes him watch ads for "free bitcoin". How do y'all handle this without screaming???
