Realme GT 5 Pro: 144Hz LTPO OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 50 MP Sony LYT-808 camera and 5400 mAh battery for $479
Realme held an event in China to showcase its new flagship smartphone realme GT 5 Pro.
Here's What We Know
The novelty received a metal body with a back panel made of artificial leather. The novelty was equipped with a curved 6.78-inch OLED LTPO display with a resolution of 1.5K, refresh rate of 144 Hz and peak brightness of 4500 nits. The screen supports DC Dimming and Pro-XDR technologies. The bezel features a 32 MP front camera hole. The primary got three sensors at 50 MP (Sony LYT-808) + 50 MP (Sony IMX890) + 8 MP (Sony IMX355). The latter sensor supports 3x optical zoom.
The smartphone runs the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM up to 16 GB and UFS 4.0 storage up to 1 TB. The novelty also packs a 5400 mAh battery. The gadget supports 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The realme GT 5 Pro comes with an under-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers and a USB-C (USB 3.2) port. Out of the box, the gadget runs Android 14 operating system with the new realme UI 5.0.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sales of realme GT 5 Pro will start in China on 16 December. The novelty will be available in four memory modifications:

- realme GT 5 Pro, 16/256 GB - $506 (then $520)
- realme GT 5 Pro, 16/512GB - $548 (then $563)
- realme GT 5 Pro, 16GB/1TB - $590 (then $605)
The smartphone will be available in the global market in early 2024.
