Redmi 12C debuted globally: smartphone with MediaTek Helio G85 chip and 50 MP camera from $135
Xiaomi unveiled the budget-friendly Redmi 12C smartphone in China in January and has now launched the new product globally.

The smartphone has made its debut in Ukraine. The novelty has already started selling in two colours and two memory modifications. Basic with 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM costs 4,999 UAH ($135), and top-end with 4GB RAM and 128GB - 6,499 UAH ($176).
As for specs, they're no different from the model for China. The global version of the Redmi 12C gets a 6.71-inch display with HD+ resolution and a drop notch for a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the back of the smartphone, a dual-module 50 MP + 2 MP camera unit has been installed. The novelty also has a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, a memory card slot, microUSB charging port, a 5000mAh battery and a headphone jack. The Redmi 12C comes with Android 12 operating system.
