Redmi K60 Ultra was announced a few days ago. The smartphone is already successfully selling, but only now the Chinese company has revealed an important feature.
Here's What We Know
The Redmi K60 Ultra's software support will last for five years. This puts Xiaomi on par with companies like Apple and Samsung, which are notable for providing lengthy support.
The Redmi K60 Ultra went on sale last week with Android 13 operating system pre-installed. Within four years, the smartphone will get Android 14, Android 15, Android 16 and Android 17. During the last year of support, the company will only release minor updates for it, including security patches.
The Redmi K60 Ultra is priced between $360 and $500 depending on the memory variant. On the first day of sales, Xiaomi sold 220,000 smartphones in five minutes and generated revenue of $79.2 million at least.
