Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G with 200MP camera and 120W charging - the most expensive smartphone in the history of the iconic Redmi Note series
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G is the fourth new entry in the 12th generation series on the European market. The smartphone has been announced alongside the Redmi Note 12 4G, Redmi Note 12 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G.
Here's What We Know
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G has two key differences from the Pro version. Firstly, the 50 MP sensor in the main camera has been replaced with a new 200 MP sensor. That's a record. Secondly, the fast charging power has been increased from 67W to 120W.
The novelty is equipped with a Dimensity 1080 chip. The European version of the smartphone gets 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The battery capacity is 5,000mAh. It charges fully in 19 minutes.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G gets a 120Hz AMOLED Full HD+ display measuring 6.67" diagonally. The main camera has 8 MP and 2 MP modules in addition to a 200 MP sensor. The resolution of the selfie camera is 16 MP.
The smartphone comes with stereo speakers, Mini-Jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. Like the other models, apart from the 4G version, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G runs on Android 12 operating system. It is updated with MIUI 14 firmware.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G in Europe is available in Polar White, Sky Blue and Midnight Black colours. The cost is €500. Our phone has become the most expensive smartphone in the history of the Redmi Note series. For comparison, the 8/256GB modification costs €265 in China.
