Redmi Note 12 Turbo - Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, 120Hz OLED display, up to 1TB of storage and 64MP camera with OIS from $290
Xiaomi has announced another smartphone within the Redmi Note series. The new one is called the Redmi Note 12 Turbo.
Here's What We Know
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is equipped with a Full HD+ panel with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It is based on a 6.67" OLED matrix. This is a hallmark of all next-generation models. At the same time, the fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side.
The heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 single-crystal system. The mobile chip is made using 4 nm technology. With its help Redmi Note 12 Turbo was able to score more than 1 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark
The top-end version of the novelty gets 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. This is a record for the Redmi brand smartphones. Also modifications with 6/8GB RAM and storage capacity of 125GB to 512GB will be available.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo has a triple main camera with optical stabilisation, In-Sensor Zoom and Imaging Brain 2.0 technology on the back, crowned by a 64MP module. For some reason, the company did not disclose the resolution of the other sensors and the selfie camera.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo has a built-in battery capacity of 5,000mAh. It has got 67W fast charging support. The novelty has USB-C, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a headphone jack, Hi-Res and Dolby Atmos certified stereo speakers. The software platform is MIUI 14 firmware based on Android 13.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo in 8/256GB, 12/256GB, 12/512GB and 16/1024GB variants is priced at $290, $320, $350 and $405 respectively. Sales will start on April 1. First-time buyers will be able to save $15-30 depending on the bundle. The smartphone will appear on the market in white, black and blue colours of the body.
