The top-end version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo received a bizarre 6.5MB MIUI 14 update

Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 12 Turbo smartphone in late March. About a week later, the model received a strange firmware update.
Here's What We Know
The smartphone is powered by MIUI 14 software with Android 13 operating system. The update number is v14.0.12.0 and the size is only 6.5MB.
Interestingly, the update has only been released for the top-end variant, which is equipped with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB storage capacity. The update fixes bugs in the Redmi Note 12 Turbo's memory expansion menu.
The novelty gets a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, 64MP camera, 5000mAh battery and 120Hz AMOLED display. The smartphone has not yet debuted in the global market, and in China it has been priced at $290-405.
