Xiaomi has unveiled the Chinese version of the Snapdragon 680-powered Redmi Pad SE with more storage and a reduced price

In mid-August, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Pad SE tablet in Europe. A month later, it debuted in China with minor changes.

Here's What We Know

Actually, this is still the same tablet with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 mobile processor, 8000 mA*h battery and 11" diagonal display with a frame refresh rate of 90 Hz. The differences is in the price and modifications.

European residents can buy Redmi Pad SE with 4-8 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 128 GB only. In China, the version with 4 GB RAM will not be sold, and to the two variants with 128 GB of storage will be added configuration 8/256 GB.

The Redmi Pad SE also features 8 MP and 5 MP resolution main and front cameras respectively, stereo speakers and a headphone jack. The software platform is the MIUI 14 for Pad running Android 13 firmware.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Redmi Pad SE has already gone on sale in China. The cost of modifications 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB was $135, $150 and $180 respectively. For comparison, in Europe, the tablet costs €200-250 ($215-265).
