Retroid's Pocket Flip 2 portable console will get an AMOLED display, Android 13 and four colour options: Retroid has revealed the gadget's technical details

Retroid has revealed the specifications of the Pocket Flip 2 handheld console, which is designed for retro gaming fans.
Here's What We Know
Earlier Retroid officially presented Pocket Flip 2, but only now detailed information about the gadget became known.
The concept of the device remains the same as the first Pocket Flip and resembles the iconic Nintendo DS console, but technically it is much more powerful.
The Pocket Flip 2 is a foldable device, the top part of which serves as a screen, 5.5″ diagonal and AMOLED matrix with 1080p resolution. The display will have a peak brightness of 500 nits. As for the chip, buyers will be offered a choice between Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and MediaTek Dimensity 1100.
The console will get 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a 5,000mAh battery with up to 27W charging. The cooling system is an active cooling system. The device uses the OC Android 13.

The weight of the console is only 300 g. The manufacturer has abandoned the microHDMI port, so Retroid Pocket Flip 2 has only USB-C and 3.5mm. There is also a slot for microSD memory cards.
The console supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1/5.2.
Buyers are offered four body colours.

The cost of the Pocket Flip 2 is still unknown, but Retroid promises to reveal pricing and pre-order launch date soon.
