Here's What We Know

According to Janes, Germany was able to buy 200 missile interceptors from Sweden for Ukraine. The amount of the deal is not specified. Before delivery, the anti-aircraft missiles are being repaired at the factories of the German company Diehl Defence.

The IRIS-T SLS air defence system is designed to destroy unmanned aerial vehicles, aircraft, helicopters and cruise missiles. According to different data, the maximum launch range is 12 kilometres or 25 kilometres and the altitude is 8 kilometres, which is significantly less compared to the IRIS-T SLM (40 kilometres in range and 20 kilometres in altitude).
