Here's What We Know
The day before, Foreign Policy reported that all US agencies involved in the coordination of deliveries approved the transfer of ATACMS to Ukraine. Later it became known that the $325 million aid package will not include ballistic missiles. Although we have to wait for official confirmation on the evening of September 21.
CNN also writes that the new package will not include ATACMS. The source says that deliveries of tactical ballistic missiles for HIMARS systems will not begin anytime soon.
At the same time, Dough Bush, the US Army's procurement chief, said US President Joe Biden will make the final decision. Bush emphasised that the US Army has enough ATAMCS to transfer to Ukraine. The delivered ballistic missiles will be replaced with new ones.
