Some media outlets report that Admiral Viktor Sokolov, commander of the Black Sea Fleet, was eliminated in the strike. However, Ukrainian intelligence currently has no information about his condition.
In addition, Budanov did not officially confirm the use of Western missiles. Nevertheless, the photos and videos that have emerged indicate that the strike was carried out by SCALP EG or Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles. At the same time, Sky News reported that it was the British version that was used.
