The Bastion-1 was an improved version of the Soviet BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher system. It uses the same launcher for 122 calibre rockets, but the chassis is now Ukrainian trucks.
There is also a modification "Bastion-02". It has an extended chassis. This allows to place additional ammunition. In addition, the modified version can be equipped with a pair of portable surface-to-air missile systems.
