Samsung recently announced a new budget smartphone, the Galaxy A24. Information has now emerged on how long the device will be supported.

So, Samsung is planning to release four major OS updates for the novelty. The gadget is currently running on Android 13. That means the device will definitely get Android 14, Android 15, Android 16 and Android 17. Thus, the Galaxy A24 will be Samsung's first budget smartphone with such a long lifespan of support.

The Galaxy A24 has a 6.5-inch display with an AMOLED matrix, FHD+ resolution and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. The device runs on a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The novelty features a 50 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP primary camera, a 13 MP front camera, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB ROM, microSD card slot and a 5000 mAh battery with 25W charging support.
