Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Go: compact rugged notebook with Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 processor
Samsung has unveiled the new Galaxy Book 2 Go laptop, which replaces last year's Galaxy Book Go.
Here's What's New About It
The previous model was based on the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor, and the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Go replaces it with the more powerful Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3. According to the manufacturer, as a result, the laptop has a 40% faster processor and a 35% more powerful graphics processor. The new chipset also offers faster wireless features, including Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, supports faster LPDDR4X RAM (at 3200 MHz) and storage (NVMe SSD).
Though battery capacity is not disclosed, the company assures that the Galaxy Book 2 Go can last all day or up to 21 hours of video playback on a single charge.
In addition, the laptop has a 14-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution and 180-degree hinge and Windows 11 operating system out of the box. The main feature of the novelty is a military standard MIL-STD-810G protection, which means the gadget is resistant to drops, extreme temperatures, humidity, shock and vibration. Its thickness is 15.5 mm, and its weight is 1.44 kg.
Samsung did not disclose other details, including the price, noting only that the Galaxy Book 2 Go will be available for purchase in France from December 20.
