Samsung Galaxy M55 5G: 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, 50 MP triple camera, IP67 protection and 5000 mAh battery
Samsung, after months of rumours and leaks, has announced the Galaxy M55 5G smartphone.
Here's What We Know
The gadget is similar in appearance and characteristics to the Galaxy A55 5G model. The novelty received a 6.7-inch display with AMOLED-matrix, FHD+ resolution, refresh rate of 120 Hz and peak brightness of 1000 nits. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The device features IP67 water resistance, as well as stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 and an under-screen fingerprint scanner. The novelty comes with a 50 MP main camera (with OIS) + 8 MP + 2 MP and a 50 MP front camera. The gadget is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 45W charging. Out of the box, the device runs Android 14 operating system and One UI 6.1 shell.
Price and when to expect
Samsung has already started selling the Galaxy M55 in Brazil. The gadget costs $540. A little later, the novelty will appear in other countries and will cost less.
