Samsung has unexpectedly released a new software version for the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone.

The firmware has the build number G780GXXS6EWG9 and it has already started rolling out in waves in Bolivia, Brazil, Guatemala, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago. In other countries the system will be available in the coming days.

As for the list of changes, it contains an up-to-date security patch that closes various vulnerabilities of the system. The developers also fixed bugs in the software and worked on optimising the user interface. There are no new features in the firmware.
