DxOMark experts have already managed to test the camera in the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, which was recently unveiled in Europe. The smartphone took 53rd place in the overall ranking, but in its class it managed to enter the top three.

Here's What We Know

The list of advantages includes good colour rendering, accurate exposure, wide dynamic range, an effective optical stabilisation system and a good ultra-wide-angle camera. The disadvantages include unstable autofocus, noise when there is a lack of light, and glare and halos when shooting moving objects.

Ultimately, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE received a score of 127 points. DxOMark rated group photos, low-light, outdoor and indoor shooting at 118, 91, 141 and 136 points respectively. The smartphone ranked 3rd in its class, behind only the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7a. But it beat similar models of the last generation.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is equipped with a triple main camera with 50 MP (OIS) + 12 MP + 8 MP (3x zoom, OIS). The main module supports shooting in 8K UHD at 24 FPS and 4K at up to 60 FPS.

The smartphone is priced from €699 in Europe and from $599 in the US. For a few weeks after the launch, you can get Galaxy Buds FE headphones as a gift with your purchase. Note that in DxOMark the model fell into the $400-600 segment.
