Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra - Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 120Hz display, IP68 protection and stylus support priced from $1200
Samsung has announced a next-generation flagship tablet. It was named Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.
Here's What We Know
The tablet has an aluminium body and glass on the front side, which covers the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The matrix is 14.6" diagonal, 1848 x 2960 pixels resolution, 120Hz frame rate and HDR10+ support.
At the heart of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor, which is used in the Galaxy Flip 5 and Galaxy Fold 5 smartphones announced today. The chip has a maximum frequency of 3.2 GHz and Adreno 740 graphics.
The inbuilt battery capacity was 11,200 mA*h. It received support for 45W wired charging. The tablet got four stereo speakers, stylus support, fingerprint scanner built into the display and Android 13 operating system with One UI 5.1 shell.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is equipped with four cameras, but none of them get optical stabilisation. At the back, there are 13 MP and 8 MP modules with wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle optics respectively. On the front, the same configuration but with 12 MP resolution each.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will go on sale on 11 August 2023. The cost of the modification with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB of memory was $1200, $1320 and $1470 respectively. The top two versions are available at a discount for the pre-order period.
