Ryse Aerotech tested a $150,000 Recon eVTOL farm passenger drone
Ryse Aerotech conducted its first flight test of the Recon eVTOL.
Here's What We Know
The drone is a one-person drone designed primarily for farmers. With the Recon eVTOL, they will be able to inspect farmland. A pilot's license is not required to operate the drone.
The Recon eVTOL is an ultralight drone equipped with six propellers. Weight of the aluminum frame is 130 kg. The design can support a pilot weighing up to 90 kg. The aircraft is equipped with an electric motor, which allows speeds up to 93 km / h. Cruising speed is 65 km/h.
The flight control module has the technology of obstacle detection and does not allow the vehicle to rise above 213 m. On a single battery charge Recon eVTOL can fly for 25 minutes.
The Recon eVTOL is scheduled to go on sale in 2023. The Recon eVTOL will cost $150,000.
