SpaceX prepares to launch its first-ever Starship and Super Heavy rocket in March
The head of SpaceX reiterated the upcoming debut launch of the Starship spacecraft. The first commercial application is expected in 2025.

Elon Musk wrote on Twitter that the first test launch of Starship will take place in March 2023 if all tests are successful. If on schedule, the ship will be used as part of the Artemis III mission to land humans on the moon in 2025.

SpaceX will build the landing module for Starship, according to a contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The cost of the agreement with the federal space agency was $3 billion.
SpaceX's system consists of the Starship and the Super Heavy rocket. They are equipped with 6 and 33 Raptor engines, respectively. The total altitude is 120 metres.
The spacecraft will go into space from Starbase. Super Heavy will take Starship into orbit and return to the site in the Gulf of Mexico. The ship will orbit the Earth and land near Hawaii.
