Blue Origin has successfully launched a New Shepard rocket after a 15-month pause due to the NS23 mission failure

Blue Origin was able to successfully complete the NS24 mission. Due to the failure of the previous launch, the pause in flights dragged on for 15 months.

Here's What We Know

In September last year, Blue Origin failed to launch the spacecraft, after which US regulators launched an investigation into the incident. The cause of the emergency termination of the NS23 mission was recognised as a faulty nozzle in the BE-3PM engine.

Fifteen months later, the company successfully completed the NS24 mission. The New Shepard rocket took off, followed by the successful separation of the crew capsule from the carrier. Later, both components landed at the designated location.

New Shepard lifted off at 12:43 (EDT) or 09:43 (PDT) on 18 December. The launch was originally scheduled for 18 December, but the company postponed it by 24 hours due to adverse weather conditions. As part of NS24, the company was able to send 33 science and research payloads and 38,000 Club for the Future flyers into space.
