Spotify has an AI-powered virtual DJ in the US and Canada
Artificial intelligence continues to take over the world. Spotify has also been influenced by it. The streaming service has introduced an AI-powered virtual DJ.

The company claims that the new feature applies a generative model developed by OpenAI. The virtual DJ will be able to shape playlists according to users' taste preferences and will voice track information before playing.

Despite the fact that the DJ uses a synthetic voice, it may sound familiar. This is because artificial intelligence has been trained on the audio recordings of Xavier "X" Jernigan, host of the morning show The Get Up. New voices may be available in the future.
To activate the new feature, click on the green circle on a blue background in the Spotify app. The virtual DJ is in beta testing and is currently only available in the US and Canada (in English).
