The US judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers ordered Apple to lift its restrictions on alternative payment methods, which instantly prompted Epic Games to offer to end the legal battle and bring the popular battle royale back to Apple devices.

Apple is introducing tax and pricing changes for apps and in-app purchases on the App Store in a number of countries from 6 February 2025.
