We wrote that some of the developers of the popular Marvel Rivals were fired. And now NetEase has confirmed it.

Two months after the crazy launch of Marvel Rivals, the game's developers were laid off. It came as a shock to everyone, as the team had created a successful franchise for NetEase.

Players have been saying for some time now that the authors of Marvel Rivals have been deliberately placing fake characters in the game's files to confuse dataminers, but the developers have categorically denied such actions. In an interview with IGN, producer Weiwong Wu and executive producer Danny Koo said that they are not engaged in "trolling" the community and are focused on developing real content for the game.

According to rumours, NetEase Games is working on the introduction of a PvE mode in Marvel Rivals that will include a battle with a kraken-like boss. Information leaks indicate that there is an early version of this monster that chases the player on one of the game's maps. But the company denies these allegations.
