Autumn has been extremely busy with releases. But against the backdrop of various giants like Ghost of Yotei, lesser projects are hiding in the gaming holes, but they should definitely not be underestimated, because despite their small budgets and teams, they are able to surprise and offer an interesting gaming experience. And one of these autumnal hidden gifts was the indie game Bye Sweet Carole, which fascinated us so much that gg's editorial team couldn't pass it up.

Koira is a debut 2D adventure game by Belgian studio Tolima that tells the story of a man trying to survive with a small dog in a dangerous forest, while revealing several important themes. Gameplay-wise, the game is simple and requires the player to solve simple puzzles, but thanks to the magical atmosphere, short timing, and hand-drawn visuals, you can play the game in one breath. And given that the publisher is Don't Nod, which is known for games like Life is Strange, Jusant, and Lost Records, which I love, gg's editorial team couldn't pass it up, because in the first 4 months of the year, it has already become a glut of game releases. Just think of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Split Fiction, and Assassin's Creed Shadows. And after this hurricane of blockbusters, you want to take a break somewhere more comfortable, and projects like Koira come to the rescue.
