God of War: Sons of Sparta is a 2D metroidvania spin-off by Mega Cat that takes us back to the cruel youth of Kratos in Sparta, showing his adventures long before the events of the main series. Moving away from the cinematic epics in favour of a more compact structure, the game offers a familiar framework with lots of fighting and exploration, but from a completely different angle, or even more correctly, from the other side. And given the cult status of the God of War series, gg's editorial team couldn't pass it up and took an experimental project for a look to see how the God of War's youth was spent (quite interesting, we must admit).
Ninja Gaiden 4 is so dynamic and efficient that the gg editorial team couldn't pass it up. With its relentless pace, aggressive combat and stylish combos, this game offers non-stop action that requires precision and skill to test your skills. The game skilfully combines aggressive combat with stylish combos, weapon transformations and fluid movements, making every fight feel fresh and exciting. Whether you're a seasoned veteran ninja or a beginner looking to master the art, Ninja Gaiden 4 will offer a bloody journey that will recharge your batteries.
Autumn has been extremely busy with releases. But against the backdrop of various giants like Ghost of Yotei, lesser projects are hiding in the gaming holes, but they should definitely not be underestimated, because despite their small budgets and teams, they are able to surprise and offer an interesting gaming experience. And one of these autumnal hidden gifts was the indie game Bye Sweet Carole, which fascinated us so much that gg's editorial team couldn't pass it up.
Koira is a debut 2D adventure game by Belgian studio Tolima that tells the story of a man trying to survive with a small dog in a dangerous forest, while revealing several important themes. Gameplay-wise, the game is simple and requires the player to solve simple puzzles, but thanks to the magical atmosphere, short timing, and hand-drawn visuals, you can play the game in one breath. And given that the publisher is Don't Nod, which is known for games like Life is Strange, Jusant, and Lost Records, which I love, gg's editorial team couldn't pass it up, because in the first 4 months of the year, it has already become a glut of game releases. Just think of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Split Fiction, and Assassin's Creed Shadows. And after this hurricane of blockbusters, you want to take a break somewhere more comfortable, and projects like Koira come to the rescue.
